At MotorShieldPlans, we believe your driving data is yours. This privacy policy outlines how we protect and manage the digital signals your vehicle generates during your time under our protection.
1. Information We Collect
We collect biometric vehicle data, including telematics (if enabled), mileage, and maintenance logs. This information is used exclusively to lower your risk profile and optimize your premiums.
2. Encryption Standards
All data transmitted between your vehicle's systems and our servers is encrypted using military-grade AES-256 protocols. Your location data is never sold to third-party advertisers.
3. Claims Transparency
During a claim, only the data pertinent to the specific event is accessed by our adjustment algorithms to ensure a fair and rapid payout.
Engagement Terms
These terms govern your relationship with MotorShieldPlans and define the parameters of your automotive protection protocol.
1. Policy Activation
A policy is considered "Active" only after the successful completion of our remote vehicle diagnostics test or a physical inspection by a certified MotorShield technician.
2. Track & Performance Use
Unless specifically noted in your Titanium plan, standard coverage does not extend to closed-circuit competitive events or sanctioned racing. Separate "Track-Addons" must be active for these events.
3. Modification Clause
Significant aftermarket modifications to the vehicle's structural or power-delivery systems must be reported within 14 days to ensure continuous shielding coverage.
